Here is what you are up against when trying to pass a hair dug test:
1. As hair grows out any drugs used are encased in the hair follicle.
2. A hair drug test is given by removing a number of strands of hair about 1.5" long.
3. The hair strands are dissolved in a solution in the lab and released toxins are looked for.
It is difficult to pass a hair drug test. A hair drug test tests positive about twice as often as when someone tries to pass a urine drug test and it is difficult to pass a hair drug test without some type of hair follicle shampoo.
Shaving your hair does not work because they can take hair from any part of the body. If it is an employment drug test and they cannot get a hair sample you may not be hired.
The fact is, it is nigh impossible to naturally pass a drug test for hair or to pass a random drug test for hair.
However, The marketplace has come to the rescue with products commonly referred to as 'hair follicle shampoos'. Essentially what these shampoos do is strip all toxins from the hair shaft which will enable you to pass your hair drug test.
Be careful with your hair drug test shampoo selection, there are many non working products on the market and their use may cause you to fail your hair drug test.
